Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As an IT Helpdesk Support Engineer, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing helpdesk tickets, addressing technical incidents, maintaining company systems, and assisting with system administration tasks. You will also ensure timely resolutions and provide excellent customer service while maintaining IT best practices.

 

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support users in queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and networking.
  • Set up the necessary computers & IT devices and ensure they always function well as expected.
  • Resolve issues including troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Support team members in tasks related to IT department and its management.
  • Maintain computer systems and act as support if any system goes down.
  • Responsible for PC’s, Printers, Servers, and related equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc.).
  • Maintain user PCs, including upgrades and configuration as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding of new users.
  • Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade PC software.
  • Report to your direct manager as required.
 
 REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
  • College or University degree in IT related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in IT Helpdesk/Support.
  • Good knowledge of Local-Area-Networking, Wide-Area-Networking, Virtual Private Network, Firewall, Anti-Virus solution.
  • Familiar with hardware troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining server, PC, networking equipment, other IT related equipment’s (telecom, mobile...).
  • Ability to learn new technologies/knowledge.
  • Teamwork oriented and willing to work under pressure.
  • Strictly follow IT processes.
  • Ability to work with basic shell scripts/programming languages to improve the efficiency of the IT processes/systems.
  • Have Certificates: MCSA, Office 365, LPI, CCNA is highly preferred.
  • Be able to communicate in English.
  • Proactive, friendly, and high responsibility.
