POSITION TITLE: JUNIOR FRONTEND DEVELOPER

FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS OBJECTIVES (FBOs): 

Genkin is looking for a potential Junior Front-End Developer to work with web developers and back-end coders and is technically responsible for the overall quality, security, and development of the online user experience. Proofreading skills and an all-around attention to detail are vital to providing all target users with a high-quality and efficient experience. You will contribute to the development of robust APIs, optimize database performance, and ensure seamless integration between server and client-side operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Get right understanding on the requirement transferred

• Take part in designing, code the Front-end features and support integration to the backend to deliver the complete solution.

• Keep research and up to date new technologies by updating latest trends in Front end and developer networks.

• Manage tasks within a given timeline

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owner, and Technical Architecture to clarify requirements, issues, solutions, processes, and documents. Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.

• Support other tasks as required by supervisor

• Suggest innovative technologies to improve the product quality

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated practical experience ranging from 6 months to 1 year in a relevant domain.

• Proficiency in prominent programming languages, including React JS, React Native, Typescript, Redux or Angular.

• Strong JavaScript basis and a good understanding of the Core-JS (ES6/7).

• Solid foundation knowledge in software programming such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), algorithms.

• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript

• Experience with at least one of the CSS compilers: Sass or Less.

• Experience with Responsive Web and Cross-Browser compatibility.

• Ability to use browser debugging tools to troubleshoot Front end issues.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or Graph QL to connect a mobile application to the back-end service.

• Experienced in working with source control or code versioning tools like Git or Git lab or TFS (required).

Nice to have:

• Experience with data structure libraries

• Good understanding of front-end component-based architectures.
