JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

1. Managing Purchasing Management (PM) section

-  Prepare, follow up and ensure the continuous improvements of the department balance scorecard PM; control the tasks of Production Materials 

-  Acknowledge the standards, policies, tools from company/Daimler AG support/ applied in the Department including compliance, ISO system, Globus, etc.

2. Management Executing Global RFQ (Production Materials)

-  Receive and check the completion of global RfQs (Request for Quotations); seek the potential suppliers for the RfQs; work with and receive consultancy and give feedback to suppliers

-  Communicate with Business Units including respective departments (Procurement, Engineering, Logistic…) and supplier in the RFQs process

3. Local Content (LC) Activities: Management 

-  Identify LC parts, evaluate & negotiate with suppliers, control the RfQs/offers from suppliers; follow up the process and contact with suppliers and internal customers

-  Communicate with Business Units including respective departments and suppliers in the local content process

4. Market investigation – ASDB Management 

-  Exploit & seek for potential suppliers of automotive in Vietnam and research market price

-  Develop potential supplier to meet requirements of Daimler

5. Negotiation with suppliers
Search, look for suppliers and negotiate with suppliers for the best price; control the prices offered from suppliers, the performance of suppliers, the price-breakdown and quality of products/services

6. Project teams (logistics/others)
Participate in the project teams with the other departments in Mercedes-Benz Vietnam and area to achieve savings for production

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-  Engineer/Bachelor Degree or equivalent

-  Have experience in purchasing and supply management, market & commodity know how, process knowledge and intercultural competence

-  Have special knowledge about procurement & supply, automotive field

-  Fluent in English, knowledge of German is preferable
