JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

-   Develop and maintain backend functions of Fossil Group’s e-commerce websites globally including:

-   Work with of Product team to help identifying technical risks as well as providing other feedback and questions on product requirements document

-   Work with team lead and other team members to break down and estimate technical tasks

-   Implement backend functionalities including business logics, databases, integrations to other systems to provide the requested business requirements

-   Perform unit test and support Quality Assurance team to make sure your implementation meets the quality requirements from business.

-   Implement additional functions/API to support front-end team

-   Provide timely support or bug fixings for production issues relating to your implementations

-   Work directly with Dallas WebSphere experts on troubleshooting existing backend issues

-   Design and architect major functions to meet requirements on performance and scalability.

-   Coach other team members to help them reach their maximum potential

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-   Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent

-   At least 7 year of relevant working experience

-   Strong problem-solving background especially on optimization.

-   Strong experience in web and e-commerce development

-   Strong experience in Java, J2EE Design patterns and MVC frameworks

-   Strong experience in relational databases (DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server…)

-   Be able to perform individually as well as in a team.

-   Experience in design and architecture of large user-base systems

-   Good leadership and effective communication in both verbal and nonverbal

-   Strong English communications

 NICE TO HAVE:  

-   Experience in web front-end (Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, etc)

-   Experience working with IBM WebSphere/DB2 is a huge plus

-   Experience in ecommerce development

-   Experience in noSQL databases and distributed caches
