The Job
DFO Global Performance Commerce builds financial technology and related software for use in eCommerce including:
- Customer relationship management software
- Page and sales funnel builders
- Product management
- Logistics
- Banking PCI level 1 and transactions and order processing
The Software Project Manager is responsible for organizing product build, setting sprints and assigning tasks as well as identifying areas of innovation and planning new software. You will work with users of the software and those with business knowledge to set requirements for improvements and additions and document all project aspects.
Your work will include:
- Documenting all requirements
- Assigning work to developers
- Working with developers
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Assist to recruit new staff
- Collaborate with relevant business units including marketing
- Clearly assign responsibility for tasks and decisions for software development
What We’re Searching?
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Study in the fields of computer science or project management an asset
- eCommerce or banking experience is an asset
- PMP / SCRUM certification is an asset
- Experience in managing the development of software
- Understanding of agile software management methodologies and proven experience in putting software development management process in place
- Ability to analyze and document detailed functional requirements of software
- Ability to estimate development time and implementation of new software
- Attention to detail, commitment to excellence and quality control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
