SmartBuddy Vietnam(www.smartbuddy.vn) is a high-growth fintech startup (part of the Fram^ group), with a big goal - helping the people of Vietnam save money every day! We are starting out in insurance and personal finance, and will be expanding into new products and international markets. We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Front-end Developer to join our team. As a Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with on our website and within our proprietary web application, which makes your role crucial for the success of our business.

At SmartBuddy Vietnam, you will be working with the latest technology and are submerged in a start-up environment as part of the extended Fram^ venture builder program. In SmartBuddy, you will have the chance to leap-frog your knowledge and grow your professional skill set.

You will be working together with the Back-end team at SmartBuddy and report to the technical director and Project Manager.

Front-end Developer duties and responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
• Use a variety of programming languages in order to create user-friendly web pages
• Maintain and improve company website
• Work in multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designers
• Build high-quality mockups and design different prototypes
• Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements
• Optimize our web applications for maximum speed
• Design mobile-based features
• Adhere and stay consistent with our brand guidelines 
• Get feedback from users, customers and team
• Problem-solving of various tasks related to the position
• Keep on top with latest and emerging technologies which can be of use to SmartBuddy
• Attend training and educations organized by SmartBuddy

Front-end Developer requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 2+ years experienced with Front-end / Web development
• Up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of modern web technologies: HTML5, CSS3,Angular 2+, JS, ReactJS
• Experience with Bootstrap, responsive design
• Solid understanding of cross browsers/cross platforms compatibility issues
• Experience with responsive design technique and front-end optimization techniques
• Familiar with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN,…
