1. Backend Software Engineer:

Responsibilities:

• Building highly scalable, highly available, fault tolerant Web service API’s to handle millions of transactions per day:
• Follow Agile and Devops practices like CI/CD to deliver quality code at speed to market
• Build software services that can integrate effortlessly and securely with banks, third party platforms and vendors 
• Think out of the box, innovate, experiment, continuously improve, fail fast and learn as you go in an effort to provide simple yet effective solutions to complex problems

Qualifications:

• Experience: at least 4 years
• Industries: Any, Fintech preferred
• 2 to 3 years of experience in designing and developing REST API’s and micro services with Java/Python/Ruby,
• Preferrably with 1+ year of experience in Go
• Experience in designing and developing API’s and backend services on various relational and NOSQL databases. Strong Database and Schema design for performance and scale 
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers, Kubernetes, caching techniques and Git is nice to have 
• Strong working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object oriented design, cloud, web sockets is a nice to have

2. DevOps Engineer:

Responsibility:

• Dockerize micro-services and applications.
• Write Nomad jobs for deployment.
• Measure SLIs to define SLOs to achieve SLAs.
• Build, ship and maintain uptime of services.
• Monitor systems and services using SRE runtime.
• Attend to PagerDuty alerts for service failures.
• Debug issues reported in the form of automatic errors or end customers.
• Create and maintain staging, pre-prod environments for stateful and stateless services.

Qualifications:

• Very Strong DevOps skills.
• Understanding of CD systems like Travis and CI systems like Jenkins or Rundeck.
• Strong Bash scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
• At Least 3 years in DevOps background.
• Deep understanding of Databases like Redis, Postgres.
• Deep understanding of HTTP and REST.
• Experience in working with complex logging infrastructures.
• Understanding of Service Discovery and Docker.
• Understanding of Application orchestrators like Nomad, Swarm, or K8s.
• Knowledge of basic statistical mathematics to understand and build Monitoring and Alerting.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud providers like AWS, Alibaba, and/or Google Compute Platform.
• Strong communication skills
