Summary:
- This role will include collecting & analyzing data and information using a variety of methods to help predict and shape business strategy and informed decision
- Subsequent data modeling and predictive analysis will then allow the insight needed in order for our organization to make informed decisions in regards to our various consumer segments.
- The role must have working knowledge of Nielsen Retail Management Services and be able to perform analysis on sales / distribution / pricing analysis from this data source.
- At the same time, the role is also expected to conduct statistic analysis including correlation / regression analysis across various data sources (external and internal data) that will enable the business to be more proactive and predictive to stay ahead of competition

Core job responsibilities:
Research
- Market Measurement and Performance Tracking
- Execute monthly sales reports based on Retail data for 6 PA countries to keep a consistent standard measurement & tracking of category sales across the region
- Prepared Regionalized and standardized reports for Area level with 6 PA countries in scope for ease of regional consolidation
- Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends
- Customized Analysis for marketing measurement and optimization
- Identify and understand problems through forecasting, gap analysis, financial modelling, variance analysis, quantitative reporting and statistical analysis
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis by request to keep track of category as well as brands performance: brand forecasting, pricing, distribution, etc…
- Conduct quantitative/analytic projects, which may involve working on different system to gather consumer data points, competitor, market/micro-macro environment condition data.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring business performance. Work and follow up with internal / agency to ensure progress for external/ internal research projects
- Manage and organize data information, such as: written and oral reports, graphs, charts and diagrams
Administration & Documentation:
- Collect business requirement from manager or marketing team
- Supervise temporary staffs to ensure all data reporting, internal/external analysis and working documents/materials comply with quality and timing of business sense.
- Ensure all business activities comply with the WHO code, Vietnam code, relevant Acts, legal demands, Abbott code of conduct and ethical standards.
Work Experience:
- 1.5 - 2 years experience in market research relevant position or Sounding proven market research analysis experience
Core Skill Requirement:
- Sound understanding of Statistical Concepts, Research Methods, and Design
- Able to manipulate large, complex data sets using a variety of software applications (Excel, Microsoft Office Suite), including the use of relational databases
- Knowing SPSS, SAS is an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- Fast-Paced, Independent Thinker
