Job Description

We are looking for a software engineer/developer to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows. We want someone who is comfortable asking “why?” The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with multiple coding languages. They are a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills, and are able to communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders.

Responsibilities

● Analyze user requirements

● Create innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions

● Work closely with project/tech managers

● Ensure coding quality, for yourself and other peers

● Create clear technical specifications

● Troubleshoot and improve current systems and their performance through close collaboration with different product teams

● Learn and expand your knowledge through individual research or team discussions to keep up with industry standards

Skills and Qualifications

● A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields and possess strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures

● 2+ years’ software development or programming experience

● A thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures

● Work with version control system such as: Git

● The ability to analyze complex technical information

● For Full Stack Developers

○ Experience with Javascript/Typescript, Python, and other programming languages. At the moment, we're using NodeJS & Python.

○ Knowledge in SQL(Postgres)/NoSQL(MongoDB, Redis) databases in areas such as caching, benchmarking, finding bottlenecks, writing complex queries or scaling

○ An understanding of HTML5, CSS3

○ Experience working with Linux/Unix or Windows

● For Mobile Developers

○ Understanding of Android SDK and Java/Kotlin

○ Experience with web service integration (JSON, XML, SOAP)
