Intrepid is a fast-growing and industry-leading ecommerce enabler, making sellers and brands successful in Ecommerce on all marketplace platforms across South East Asia through a combination of software solutions and value-added services across store management, online marketing, customer service (e.g. chat), data & intelligence, and fulfilment & logistics. The company operates in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and soon Malaysia, was built by ex-Lazada founders and is run by a young, enthusiastic and energetic team, looking to help brands and sellers seize the full potential of the ecommerce opportunity in South East Asia.

The role:

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for winning new brands and growing our business with existing accounts across all services. You are experienced in ecommerce and know how brands can be successful on the key ecommerce platforms. You know the challenges that brands face in their ecommerce go to market, and you know how Intrepid can solve them. You are able to build a detailed understanding of a brand’s particular situation, and tailor our services and commercial proposal to their specific needs.

You stay up to date of the latest market developments, working closely with our different in-house teams, both locally and regionally, and maintain close relationships with the key ecommerce platforms and brands. During onboarding you are involved in shaping the strategy and plans for the brands that you brought in. As we continuously expand our services, you work closely with the KAM team to explore which accounts would benefit from additional services and drive upselling & cross selling.

Responsibilities:

·         Achieving assigned sales targets

·         Prospecting and developing new client relationships within a defined geography or market

·         Consulting with clients on business issues and research design

·         Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations

·         Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

·         Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to monthly KPI

·         Make reports to Management and/or Line manager

·         Other assignments, as provided by Management and/or Line manager

Who we look for – the ideal profile:

●        University degree

●        Fluent in Vietnamese, proficient in English

●        Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in Ecommerce, ideally with a platform (Lazada / Shopee), with another enabler, or with a brand or distributor

●        Commercial experience - ability to understand customer needs, craft proposals and win deals

●        Strong interpersonal, relationship and communication & listening skills

●        Strong ecommerce knowledge and analytical skills

●        Network with brands & ecommerce platforms in Vietnam

●        Flexible & collaborative attitude, excited about a fast-paced start-up environment

●        Good excel and powerpoint skills
