Key responsibilities of an Export Documentation Executive are:
- Responsible for accurate data input in MSC system, releasing of BL and collection of payment;
- Responsible for prompt production of BL & smooth cargo release, coordination and communication with customers & other depts, other agencies.
- Receive shipping instruction ( SI), check SI with booking screen, inform to all concerns if any discrepancies between SI, system and guidelines, or if any doubts. Input B/L, cargo manifest, other data into system then send draft BL to clients
- Check and issue certificates related to shipment.
- Receive Pre- SOB, check & chase SIs.
- Double-check SI with SOB list right after receiving SOB list from customer service dept.
- Handle B/L process and B/L amendment as required.
- Issue Original bills of lading as well as cargo Manifest corrector after receiving SOB list
- Solve daily issues as they happen with local customers/other agents.
- Handle AMS, ACI, ENS… cargo issues: send AMS details to customers ontime, inform new AMS details. File records
- Perform any duties as assigned by Team Leader and Export Documentation Manager
- Please note that this is a short term position.
Job requirements:
- Minimum Degree qualified in Import- Export, Logistics, Maritime, Shipping, Sea Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of direct relevant or similar experience in Documentation and/or Customer Service function/s from shipping industry
- Customer Oriented
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure;
- Teamwork skills
- Good communication & interpersonal skills;
- Meticulous with an eye for details
- Good communication (verbal and written) in English
- Ability to work independently
- Problem solving skills;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
