The Role:
- The Supply Planner is responsible for planning within the Category Supply Chain Planning platform.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for mid to long-term Finished Goods requirement planning for assigned SKUs/market for a category, which includes running the master production schedule in the system, and resolving alerts and exceptions that occur.
- Responsible for parameter maintenance in the system for assigned SKUs/market for a category.
- Communicate with Plants to ensure compliance to schedule and drive labour / capacity plans to secure customer service delivery.
- Manage inventory levels to target expectations and customer service availability agreements
- Responsible for stock balancing and inventory positioning across the distribution network in line with boundary settings and latest demand plans.
- Manage shelf-life / aging inventory reviews and related exception management.
- Support Supply Planning Manager Supply & Commercialisation lead in any other preparation for BUSR & Region SR (RSR).
- Perform root cause analysis for key service issues, as well as share output with appropriate leadership.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for creating action plans and RCA for non-compliant KPI.
- Assess short-term feasibility requests from all markets (where necessary).
- Measure performance on capacity constraints and boundary settings. Escalate violations to Supply Planning Manager, as needed.
- Manage Co-Man/Co-Pack planning including PO maintenance and exception management.
- Ownership of key KPIs including but not limited to: Case Fill Rate, category supply planning process performance and efficiency for the assigned SKUs.
- Support Innovation Planning (NPD) through management of start-up plans and inventory builds.
- Exception management for manual vehicle sizing, optimization and load building.
- Manage trade-offs between DC/RDC/Branch capacity and capabilities.
- Develop and maintain replenishment MOQs.
- Primary interface with CS&L, field logistics, plant buffers and RDCs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply chain or related field.
- Fluent in English communication.
- Prefer candidates with experience in the manufacturing business/operations, supply planning, production planning, material planning (preferable in confectionery products and/or consumer products).
- Familiar with SAP/APO application, Microsoft Excel.
- Co-operation and communication skills to manage cross-functional interfaces.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
- Excellent problem- solving skills.
- Must be self-motivated, have high energy and enthusiasm.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and introduce change.
