Helpdesk
- To provide technical support; answering support queries either onsite or via phone or email.
- To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
- To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
- To log all calls on the call logging system (GLPI) and maintain full documentation.
- Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
- Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected.
- Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
- To allocate more complex service issues to the relevant IT Support member.-
To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in house.
- Troubleshooting, installing and updating desktop PC, laptop hardware, software, printers, scanners, phones (fax) and other peripherals.
- Configuration and set-up of all new shop systems required internally for the company’s activities.
- Anti-virus updates and overall responsibility for company IT security.
- Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions and access rights.
- Provide telephone and desktop, laptop support to internal users .
- Manage all network hardware and equipment including routers, switches.
- Ensure network connectivity of all workstations.
Network
- Install, configure, and support the LANs WANs and Internet systems.
- Maintain network and workstation hardware and software.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- To supervise other network support technicians and plan, co-ordinate, and implement network security measures.
- Perform routine backups and archival of files stored on the network to assist with disaster recovery.
- Analyse user support statistics and other data and recommend appropriate measures.
- Assists in maintaining the operating system and security software utilised on the network, including the addition of new users to the network and establishment of rights and privileges.
Job requirement
- University or Technical degree
- At least 1 year experince at the same position
- Good knowlegde in Ubuntu, Window, LAN, WAN
- Communication in English
