Purpose:
- Primarily responsible for supporting in attracting new customers and developing existing customer volumes.
- Maintain excellent business relationship with existing clients and strengthen partnership with key target clients.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customer via meeting phone or email
- Identify new sales and marketing opportunities and notify Manager
- Contribute to develop volume and revenue budgets and work proactively to ensure budgets are met and exceeded.
- Prepare business cases for capital investment
- Support in providing Market Intelligence and Market Research
- Monito competitor activity and recommend action where necessary
- Work closely with the Operation team to ensure issues relating to customer are urgently & appropriately addressed
Critical qualifications/skills/Experiences:
- BA or MBA degree
- The candidate should be a high achiever with a minimun experience of 3 years in a sales, marketing or operation role.
- The candidate should be a self-starter, who can demonstrate a pro-active and energetic approach to achieving business targets and meeting commercial objectives.
- Proven excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- The candidate should have significant understanding of container shipping, container logistics chain.
- Persuasive and assertive
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven track record as self-starter
- Strong networking skills
- Good English command is a must
